GIGSTAD HUNTING Garnett, KS -We offer hunting for Whitetail deer, quail, and turkey on our farm ground located 6 miles West of Garnett, KS on about 400 acres of land including over a mile of the navigable creek and wooded timber. Garnett is located in Eastern Kansas in Anderson County, and is known as some of the best Whitetail deer hunting in the world. - Lodging is available on site if arranged in advance, or we can help arrange accommodations at a hotel in Garnett, KS. -We have heavy timber, dissected by streams and broken with small cropfields, make this area ideal for Whitetail deer, turkey, squirrel, and rabbit hunting. Also Bobwhite quail are found on the edge areas between timber, grass, and croplands -We typically don't have more than 15 hunters come through each year so that the population remains stocked and healthy. -Tree stands, etc., can be arranged if advance notice is given. -Along with hunting, we also have multiple ponds, and around a mile of navigable Pottawotomie creek runs through the land for excellent fishing opportunities.
